Genting Highland_5 Sep 2010

3D2N Genting F&E package with Five Star Tour during the September school holidays with Lijuan.  $138 per pax. Accomodation: First World Hotel

Reached Golden Mile Complex at 6.30am as the coach was supposed to depart at 7am. However, not too sure what happened, there was an delay of half an hour and they changed our coach too. 6 hours journey and the coach didn't have any form of entertainment ie no movie, no game :(

Around 8.30am, we reached Yong Peng for breakfast stop. I ordered the fishball kway teow soup again.
Upon reaching Genting Highland at 1.30pm, we were told to take a queue number in order to check-in to the First World Hotel.  Lijuan and I went to the First World Hotel and started to queue here.  I took out my vouchers from five-stars, and one of the staff saw them and advised us to queue at another place specially for some tour groups.  Some of the uncles and aunties told us that the queue at the other side should be faster.
So we ended queueing up here instead... The crowd was definitely not any lesser
We were behind 98 people!!  The check-in waiting time took us 2 freaking hours!!
Genting - Above the Clouds
Late lunch at Marrybrown at 3.30pm. We should have taken the queue number and gone for lunch after that... Hiaz... One of my chicken piece was not fully cooked inside and they gave me a drumstick in exchange.
My new piece of drumstick
Me at the entrance of Marrybrown
The restaurant is just within the First World Indoor Amusement Park.  After lunch, we explored the First World Plaza and also walked to Genting Hotel and Highland Hotel (They are all linked) before going for K-dinner

Look carefully, this is not Superman.  Imitation!!
We had some "Gu Ling Gao" too before going down to the KTV
We had made a booking at 8pm.  This is the KTV at Genting Hotel that we went.
After service charge and taxes, each of us only have to pay RM22 for 2 hours of singing, dinner, snacks and drinks! Super worth the $$
Drinks and Snacks were served very promptly followed by our dinner
I ordered this claypot chicken with rice
The gravy was good and went very well with the rice.  The serving was rather generous too!
Lijuan ordered Assam Laksa
Every room has a theme.  Our room got this cute vampire theme :)
