Go! Go! Curry! @ Parco Marina Bay

Go! Go! Curry! opened at Parco Marina and currently, they are running a 30% discount for all items!  Too good a deal to be missed!  I was actually attracted by its gorilla mascot first.  It gave me quite a scare as it suddenly appeared in front of me when I was shopping around in the mall.
I decided to buy something from Go! Go! Curry! back for dinner with hubby.
Bought "The Grand Slam" so that I could try out the different varieties - the chicken, the pork, the shrimps and sausages.  Only $12.50 after discount.
The portion was just right for both of us.  The chicken was tender and so if you like your meat to have a firmer texture, choose the pork katsu.
For take-away, they separated the curry from the rice.  The curry was almost black and although it looked sort of... unappetizing, it tasted good and went well with the rice.

The next time I would order a set of pork katsu curry for my own! :)

Pepper Lunch @ White Sands

I am really glad that Pepper Lunch opens another outlet at White Sands!  We got one more option for dining when we are at White Sands which we frequent regularly.
Hubby ordered Rib-Eye Steak ($16.90) and he topped up $2 for a drink and ice-cream.
Pouring the honey brown sauce onto the meat.
Done!
I ordered Curry Rice with Seafood.  ($14.90)
I poured all the curry into the rice and stirred everything, including the scallops and prawns together.
Ready to serve!

Mr Curry @ The Central

There was a heritage food festival at Clarke Quay Read Bridge. However, we past by all the food stalls and nothing really interest us. Thus, we went back to The Central for our dinner. Walked past some Japanese restaurants, including Waraku. However, we just had Waraku at The Heeren a week ago so I told hubby to try other restaurants. We were attracted by Mr Curry's restaurant decor and we decided to give it a try.

Once we sat down, I realized that the plates and serviettes got Waruku's name printed on them. So, Mr Curry is also a subsidiary of Waraku. We ordered 4 dishes and 2 drinks but our table was quite small. When the staff served the dishes to us, she didn't ask us and assumed that I ordered the ramen and gave my hubby the omelette rice. When she realized I was the one having the omelette rice, she didn't bother to help us arrange the dishes properly and correctly. Poor us, we got to arrange back the dishes nicely on our own :( This spoilt our mood for this dining experience from the very start.

Hubby ordered Seafood Curry Ramen. Think it didn't taste very good.

I ordered the chef's recommendation, Omelette Rice with Clams. It was quite a disappointment. The omelette was so thin and I didn't enjoy it at all.

We paid $49.95 for this very unsatisfying meal.

Yoshimi @ Manpuku Tampines 1

Tomorrow is the start of our students' examination. Before our markings start to kick in, colleagues - SF, SS, JD, LL and I decided to go to Tampines 1 to makan and shop. I introduced them to Manpuku :) We all ordered different stuff.
I ordered curry rice with pork cutlet to satisfy my carbo intake. Very hungry as I think I skipped my lunch.

Curry rice with Pork Cutlet

The curry was poured to the side of the plate and not over the top. Not spicy, typical Japanese Curry taste. They have soup curry also. Maybe should try that instead.
