Pizza Delivery Singapore

Having already tried most of the conventional pizza delivery in Singapore, we decided to try out this new pizza delivery - Pizza Delivery Singapore as recommended by "Best In Singapore" through this article "13 Best Pizza Deliveries in Singapore" for a change. :)
Whoohoo!  Our order of pizzas, pasta and sides for me and hubby.

As I would like to try out the different flavours, I ordered four different pizzas (All small - 4 slices each), a pasta and two sides.  The small pizzas looked so cute!  They look different from the other commercialised pizzas.  The crust was thin and soft with a bit of crisp on the exterior, so that you can fold the slice before putting it into your mouth.

When I placed my order in July, there was a promotion of 50% off any two pizzas.  Be sure to check out even number of pizzas as the cost of 2 pizzas will be the same as the cost of one pizza, so just get at least two!

Update @4 Aug 2020 - The promotion is now "Buy 1 Free 1" and only applies for Medium or Large Pizza.
There is also an island wide free delivery for order more than $60.

On the boxes, there were labels indicating the "to be consumed before" timing, which is around 4 hours.

Hawaiian Pizza
This is the classic pizza that anyone in the family will love.  The pizza is topped with chicken ham slices, tomato sauce, chicken breast, capsicum peppers, mozzarella cheese and of course, pineapple chunks.

 Beef Salami Pizza
Another classic pizza that is not to be missed.  The pizza is topped with beef salami in tangy tomato sauce with olives, mozzarella cheese in extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil.

Seafood Pizza
This is definitely a must-order for seafood lover like me!  It is topped with a combination of seafood - prawns, tuna chunks, squids, scallops drenched in mozzarella cheese and extra virgin olive oil.

 Bolognese Pizza
Another choice of pizza for beef lovers.  This pizza is topped with subtly spiced beef bolognese simmered in tangy tomato sauce, extra virgin oil and mozzarella cheese.

Squid Ink Pasta
To be honest, I got a shock when I opened the container as everything in it was black!  Haha!  Definitely it didn't look very aesthetically pleasing.  I did give my share of feedback to them to improve on the aesthetic part of the pasta.  It is better to make the seafood items more visible, am I right?  Apart from this, the pasta was a bit high on the sodium side.

Beefy Meatballs
I like this side dish of beef meatballs as I was craving badly for Ikea meatballs then.  Although it didn't come with cranberry jam like how Swedish meatballs are usually served, their meatballs, baked in tangy Italian Arrabbiata sauce and topped with cheddar cheese were quite yummy.

Honey Mustard Prawns
This side dish contains 6 battered prawns accompanied by a small tub of their special blend of honey mustard sauce.

I would recommend their handcrafted pizzas if you want to try something different from those conventional pizzas that we normally order for delivery.

Pezzo Pizza @ Bedok Mall

I bought 3 slices of pizza from "Pezzo" for take-away to bring back to share with hubby for dinner.
There was a 3-slice box promotion (any flavour) that cost $12.90.  I bought 3 slices with 3 different toppings and the pizzas were all very yummy!

Back at Skinny Pizza @ Wheelock Place

Met up with my friends to go to Openrice office to redeem our gifts.  I took part in their Hungry Games contest and for the month of September, I redeemed a coffee-bean card which is valued at $28.  Cheryl from Openrice also gave us some freebies such as the Smiley fan, tissue pack and pen from Openrice.
After that, we joined the rest at Skinny Pizza at Wheelock Place.  This was my second visit to Skinny Pizza and this time, I got to try out more items as there were 7 of us, so we ordered more dishes.
There was a "3 sides for $18" promotion and thus, we ordered different side dishes to share.  The sides were served in mess tins without handles.
Harissa Prawns won thumbs up from everybody.
Truffle Fries was cripsy and nice too but need to finish it fast before it turned greasy.
Sweet Potato Nibblets, which came in big chucks, were nice but very filling of course!
Brie Cheese (Right) was tasty too.

My friends also ordered another set of 3 sides of 1/4 sausage (Chicken, Beef and Pork).
I ordered the Mixed Berry Tark drink ($7) which tasted a bit like Ribena.

My friends had the Portobello Soup ($7) which was very thick with mushroom bits.  I find this better than the Sweet Corn with Crab Soup ($7) that I had.

One of our friends had the Squid Ink Pop ($15).  Basically, all the ingredients used were the same as squid ink pizza but you got to "burst" the ball and dropped the ingredients inside.
Of course, this is a must-order pizza at Skinny Pizza - Squid Ink Pizza! ($26)

Chicken Satay Pizza ($22) which was topped with thick satay sauce.  The slice of pizza that I took, happened to have only the satay sauce without much meat, thus, a bit unsatisfying for me.  Maybe the pizza would be better if they can be more generous with the chicken meat chunks?
Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars... Looking up the dome structure at Wheelock Place from inside the building.....  Beautiful!
After dinner, we strolled along Orchard Road and chanced upon 2 "ghosts"!  Haha..... and even took a group photo with them.  But the "ghosts" looked rather friendly, don't you think so?

Great Pizzas and Affordable Dining at MBS - Pizzeria Mozza

My colleague suggested going to Pizzeria Mozza for dinner after our trip to the ArtScience Museum. Initially, the rest of us were quite skeptical as we thought he was joking, to dine at a celebrity chef restaurant at Marina Bay Sands. However, it was for real. We then thought, since it was our pay day, why not gave it a try? :P

The restaurant was very crowded but luckily, there was no queue forming yet. The environment was quite dim but very vibrant. Compared to the high class sister restaurant next door, Osteria Mozza, this restaurant is more casual. We felt very relaxed and comfortable in there. Their table mats were very interesting, all having different designs, some with quizzes, for you to ponder before your meal is served. Many of the words in the menu were in Italian, and we couldn't quite understand. We asked the staff to translate and explain to us the names. They were very willing to help us and always served us with a smile. At first, we were attracted by an item in the menu, ie fried pig's ear and we actually ordered that. unfortunately, the item was not available.

Complimentary crackers were served to us in a brown paper bag before our dishes were served. Nice gesture!
Since this restaurant's specialty is their pizzas, we definitely had to order that! They have so many different pizzas and the price ranges from $24 to $37. We were seriously spoit for choices. There were 5 of us and the staff told us to get 3 pizzas first, should be enough. We ordered fried potatoes with rosemary and chickpeas, and also mussels for our sides. The potatoes tasted really good but the mussels were quite small. We loved the sauce that came with it though.
Funghi Misti, Fontina, Taleggio, Thyme ($30)
Generous fillings of a variety of mushrooms with herbs. Lovely!
Bacon, salami, fennel sausage, pancetta, tomato & mozzarella Pizza. Definitely a hot favourite for carnivores! A galore of meat! ($37)
Pizza alla benno: Speck, pineapple, jalapeño, mozzarella & tomato, really nice as well. ($35)
All the pizzas tasted so superb! I would definitely come again with other friends or family members to try out the other types of pizza here! Moreover, it was affordable. Each of us paid only $32 for the great meal.

Skinny Pizza | What a Crack @ Wheelock Place

This was a Friday dinner with my hubby after my hair treatment at Wheelock Place.  I managed to "chope" two seats at around 6pm before the queue started.  This was our first time at Skinny Pizza.  It is not difficult to find this restaurant at the 3rd level of Wheelock Place as you can find many of these "Pizza guides" on the ground, leading to the restaurant.
What a crack.

While waiting for my hubby, I flipped through the menu and it was no surprise that I ordered their signature squid ink pizza!

Wow!  Look impressive, isn't it?  Generous amount of squid rings on the black skinny crust.
Hear the crackle as the pizza cutter rolled across the pizza?

Looking at this photo while I blog is such a torture now when I haven't had my dinner yet.
This is how thin the crust is.  Seriously, if you eat on its own, it tasted like normal cream biscuit.  However, when you eat it together with the toppings, it brought the taste to a whole new level.

Overall, we had a very good dining experience here with the delicious food and the service staff were also all full of smiles.
