Museo @ Quayside Isle, Sentosa Cove

I took part in Miss Tam Chiak's Quayside Isle instagram giveaway last year end.  To take part, simply take a photo at Quayside Isle, with hashtag #quaysideisleuob.  As I had visited Quayside Isle before to celebrate my hubby's birthday at Sabio by the Sea, I added in the hashtag #quaysideisleuob to my instagram photo of the paella that we had at Sabio and I won $200 vouchers with that!  :)

I went to City Develpments Limited (CDL) at City House, Robinson Road to redeem my vouchers during January this year and I got 20 x $10 Quayside Isle vouchers.  As the expiry date is coming near, to be used by the end of March, I decided to give my parents and hubby a good treat with the vouchers.
Hubby and I decided to go back to Sabio by the Sea again but luckily, I checked with the staff first regarding the usage of the vouchers before getting seated in the restaurant.  The restaurant staff told us that they were not one of the participating outlets for the use of these vouchers.  Hubby then called up the number stated on the vouchers to ask which were the participating outlets.  In the end, I decided on Museo.  The restaurant is located at the 2nd level and we just need to take the lift from the first level to reach the restaurant directly.

There is a table located just in front of the lift, at the entrance of the restaurant next to the menu stand.  Don't think anyone will choose these seats.  Interesting designs of plates.
Menu with no photos.
We chose our seats next to the bar counter and our window seats also allowed us to have a good view outside, overlooking the yachts.  However, the only grumble we had throughout the dining experience was there was no air-condition in the restaurant apparently.  We all felt a bit hot and uncomfortable and I also saw another patron on the other table kept fanning herself with a piece of paper.
 Complimentary starters...
Hubby ordered Pomelo Tea.
I had Roasted Hazelnut Latte (Cold)

We ordered a set of Mezzanine Signatures ($42) consisting of Smoked Roast Pork Belly (Joys of Life), Soft Shell Chilli Crabs (Three Musicians), Deep-fried Prawns flavoured with Lavender (Picasso's Blues) and Chicken Satays (A Sunday afternoon on the Island) to share.  The food was served in delicate glass jars.

We also ordered another three mains.
Delicate Cod Fillet with Baked Scallops in its shell with Onion Relish and
Truffle Mushroom Risotto ($35)
Truffle Mushroom Risotto and Hokkaido Sea Scallops ($35)
Two-Way Lobster (Half)
Lobster "Thermidor" and Seafood Otah Stuffing in Lobster Shell served with Barley Risotto ($38)

Total bill for four was $221 and thus, we only needed to top up another $21 after using the vouchers.
We love the food at Museo and hope to re-visit the place soon maybe for their high-tea.  :)

Sabio by the Sea @ Quayside Isle

Celebrated hubby's birthday at a Spanish Restaruant - Sabio by the Sea at Quayside Isle this year.
A flat gantry admission charge is applicable to each car entering Sentosa.  We paid $7 as we went on a weekend.  Parking lots are available at Quayside Isle at $3.50 per entry.

 Exterior of the restaurant.

Look at the nice patterns at the backdrop!  The staff told us proudly that they actually nailed the pattern one by one on their own!  Even the tables in the restaurant, the design on the top of the tables were also made by their staff.

We chose the seats next to these wall-mounted ornaments of the heads of horses and one zebra.
By the way, the staff here were wearing black and white stripes tees.  You might want to avoid wearing stripes when coming to this restaurant.

We asked for the staff's recommendation on what to order since it was our first time to this restaurant.

Sabio's Sangria
Their signature drink - Sangria.  It is an assortment of fruit stewed in a claret base mixed with soda water and sugar.  I preferred Sangria (Red) which had a refreshing, sweet fruity taste while hubby had Sangria (White).  $10/ glass.
Sea Scallops with Sparkling White Wine Sauce ($16)
El Cerdo - Herb Marinated Pig Shoulder served with Sauted Potato ($21)
Paella de Pescado (Shrimps, Sea Bass, Squids, Mussels, Clams)  (For 2 pax - $25)
Both of us were very satisfied with all the dishes that we had ordered.  I would like to come back soon to try out other dishes and also to try out the other restaurants such as Museo at Quayside Isle.
