Charisma D'Venue is a restaurant that also caters to Malay wedding functions. Our first trip here didn't work out as they were hosting a wedding event. We made a trip to the restaurant again the following week after I checked on their facebook page and they posted on their page that they would open from 12pm onwards. We reached around 12.45pm but the place was very empty. We walked into the restaurant and the two staff who were playing with their phones, didn't really notice our existence until I called them and asked whether they were opened for business. The staff then politely told us that the kitchen wasn't ready yet, probably had to wait for another 30 minutes. Since I had to redeem my voucher, we took a walk over to Geylang Serai then went back to the restaurant at 1.15pm. We were the only customers.

I ordered Thai Iced Tea.
I was entitled to a free plate of Aglio Olio Prawn with Turkey Bacon Pasta. The prawns were fresh. Thanks to Openrice Giveaway.
Hubby ordered the Bandung Pasta which was their specialty. However, the supposedly poached egg was actually fully cooked! What a disappointment... :(
