Dim Sum at Asia Grand Restaurant (Odeon Towers)

Another makan session with the gals to celebrate SL's birthday.  RJ helped to organize this meetup but she couldn't meet us last minute as she was feeling unwell.  Joyce brought along En-Rui too.  The birthday girl and mummy-to-be suggested dim sum at this Cantonese restaurant as she had tried the dim sum here before and she quite liked it.  The price of the dim sum generally come in the range of $3.50 to $4.50 per dish.

Fshcake with capsicum and cucumber appetizer and sambal chilli ($3)
Century Egg Porridge ($7)
Poached Pork Dumplings ($4)
Assorted Musroom Dumplings ($4)
Shrimp Beancurd Roll ($4.50)
Shrimp Rice Roll and we also ordered Char Siew Rice Roll ($4.50 each dish)
Chives and Pork Dumplings ($4)
These were very tasty too
Shrimp Dumpling ($4)
Siew Mai ($4.50)
Chicken Feet - LJ and I loved this one! ($3.50)
Carrot Cake in XO sauce and beansprouts ($9)
This carrot cake was quite special and we all liked it very much.
After meal, we walked to Bras Basah and did a bit of shopping there.
Total cost of the meal:  $76.50

Yummy dim sum. The roasted pork was excellent; the skin was crispy and the meat was tender. Did you try their desserts? --J

I guess you'll want to put a facebook button to your site. I just bookmarked the site, although I must make this by hand. Just my $.02 :)
