This year, River Hongbao is being held again at the iconic Floating Platform @ Marina Bay and is organised by the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, Singapore Press Holdings, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Singapore Tourism Board and People’s Association. I missed this event last year and made an attempt to join in the crowd at River Hongbao to welcome the year of the horse, which is also my zodiac. We were mentally prepared to see a huge crowd there and thus, we decided to grab some bites at Marina Square before walking over to the floating platform.
