Pauline and I had signed up for SNOOPY RUN this year. This was the third fun run that we had taken part together. The first two were "Meiji Run" and "Hello Kitty Run" last year. Another friend of ours was supposed to join us as well but she was too occupied and forgot to register.
Race pack collection was held at the Sports Hub Library. I went on the second day and there was no queue. Pauline went on the first day and she queued almost an hour to get her race pack!
The yellow Charlie Brown carrier which I brought along for the fun run.
We had arranged to meet at Stadium MRT at 7.30am so that we could join the 7.50am or 8.05am run.
Starting point... We started at around 8.05am. As this was a fun run or should I call it a fun walk, there were many children as well as quite a number of elderly. When the "race" started, nobody ran and we were stucked at our starting point for around 5 minutes before the line started moving. I am not complaining... as we had paid so much for this event, definitely most of us would like to take more photos during the run. This was not a timed race so it doesn't quite make any sense to treat this like a competitive race and you would miss out all the fun of taking photos with your friends and all the PEANUTS' props.
At around 8+am, we were surprised to see so many elderly practicing Tai Chi here. That's something really encouraging, to see our old folks engaging in healthy lifestyle.
We walked past the old Kallang Airport.
Before reaching the finishing line, we stopped here to take photo with the giant snoopy. There was a long queue (expected). We didn't queue and just made do with taking photo with it from the side.
After that, we queued for "Picnic with Snoopy and Woodstocks". This photo was one of our favourites and we instagrammed it and got it printed out for free at the Sports Hub Library after the event.

After we had collected our finisher medal and certificate, we went over to the main stage area to see whether there were other activities/ games. There was an emcee on stage and was very proficient in both Mandarin and English. Later I found out that he is Jeff, a Deejay from YES 933 FM.
Look! Who is coming up the stage?
Lucy!!!
Jeff asked her to give us 10 different poses.

There were some games and lucky draw before the whole event ended.
We didn't go back immediately after the event ended as we were not in a rush. We went to Cheers to get some drink and then walked over to the Sports Hub Library to print our instagram photo for free.
Pauline and I also downloaded this app "SPARK ASIA" and sent them 10 photos to try out for fun.
After we got our photos, we realized that most of the props were still around and there wasn't much queue already. Thus, we took our own sweet time to take photos with all the props!
By the time we finished all our photo shoots, it was almost noon and we were both famished. Instead of going over to Bras Basah for lunch (initial plan), we decided to have our lunch at Kallang Wave Mall. After lunch, we went to Singapore Philatelic Museum as there was a "PEANUTS" exhibition.
