Do you know where to find the best pho in Old Quarter, Hanoi?
Hi to all people who love food like me!! This blog is basically for me to post photos of the food that I enjoy and also, to discuss good food with fellow foodies. I am no food critic and I believe that taste of the food can be quite subjective. I have also decided to add in my travel blog and some bits and pieces of my life here. If you have the time, do drop by and feel free to browse around! Cheers! =P

Freddie's Burger @ Ion Orchard [Closed]
Update @ 20 Apr 2010: 6 food stalls from Ion Orchard closed down including Freddie's Burger. Click here to read more
My Burger - "The Aussie", a beef burger that comes with cheese and egg
I feel that the meat was too minced, suffering from a mealy texture. I wouldn't use "tender" to describe the beef patty. The combo set was quite value for money as I bought it during a promotion. Not too sure whether they still have the promo or maybe they have lowered the price of their burgers? The set comes with curly fries and a drink. The staff who was serving me was quite friendly.

Charcoal Bread - Are you game for this?
Went Jusco Shopping Centre with my family during one of the weekends this month and we saw many bakeries selling bread that are black. Seems like the "IN" thing so we also bought 2 packs to try. Each pack only has 3 slices of bread. These charcoal bread has no charcoal taste and in fact, they taste very sweet. I quite like the bread and it is very soft too. Think sooner or later, this idea will be imported to Singapore as well.

Godzilla Pau @ Elias Mall Foodcourt
I came to know about this Godzilla Pau from Ieat website and was really quite curious about the actual size of this pau. Although I am staying in Pasir Ris, I seldom go to Elias Mall. When hubby was away for business trip last week, I almost wanted to drop by this foodcourt to have a taste of this Godzilla pau. However, I was too lazy to do so, though it is just about 10 to 15 minutes bus ride from my home. Ladies take note! Don't try to venture to this stall to finish up the Godzilla on your own!! You will not be able to finish it. It is really huge... Haha... Hubby and I shared the pau and I almost couldn't finish up my half.
Godzilla Pau ($3.50)
Really value for money. In the past, they also had abalone slices in the pau. Wow...
Japanese Pork Belly Pau ($1.20)
The auntie selling the pau is so friendly. She also helped us to cut the smaller "kong ba" pau nicely and asked us for our feedback. She also told me to go nearer to her stall to take photos of the Godzilla Pau if I want, and take as many pictures as I like. Haha.. =P

Signed up for a rubrik workshop and learning journey and we were supposed to report at Toa Payoh HDB Hub at 8.45am for registration. I reached Toa Payoh very early, at around 8am and thus, I settled at Ya Kun for breakfast.
