Ju Ju Hokkaido Hot Pot

Hubby's birthday this year falls on a Monday. After work, we went to Ju Ju Hokkaido Hot Pot at PoMo formally known as Paradiz centre which most of us are familiar with) for dinner.
I had the Fresh Pacific Ocean Platter steamboat.

You can see from the photo that it comes with a whole crab. Love the presentation!
Hubby ordered the following beef set.

They have 3 types of soup base for us to choose, namely clear Kun-Bo soup, milk base and spicy. Juju serves a light broth using Japanese “kun-bu” (air-flown Japanese seaweed from Hokkaido), that doesn’t overpower food and focuses on the natural taste of the food. Both of us, on the safe side, we chose the Kun-Bo soup in our individual hot pot.

The set meal comes with appetizer - Semi-Boiled Golden Egg with House Starters. I like the semi-boiled egg which goes really well with the sauce given.

Assorted Hand-made Rainbow Dumplings

For lunch, dumpling platter is served instead. (Actually not too sure how this is different from the rainbow dumplings, probably the variety?)

Vermicelli

Soba

Ice Plum drink was served to us after the heavy meal. The staff told us that the drink was good for digestion. For dessert, both of us ordered "Pearl Harbor", nothing special, just some sago dessert.

As usual, service here was very good and same as Tao's restaurant, their staff are always so friendly. Both restaurants were under the same group. They have a thid restaurant under their wing - Dozo (it is a more up-scale restaurant), maybe can try this next time :P

Lunch - 6 Course Set Meal ($19.80++ per person)
Dinner - 7 Course Set Meal ($29.80++ per person )

Oyster Rice

Hubby bought a premix for oyster rice from Japan and he cooked it for dinner tonight.

It tasted quite good. The oysters had a sweet favouring. Not too sure whether the oyster rice premix is sold in Singapore?
